Psion Teklogix 8525 G2 Rugged Vehicle Mount Computer The 8525 G2 is a Windows CE 5.0 based vehicle-mount computer engineered to deliver Flexibility, Integration, Ruggedness and Ergonomics (FIRE) required for mobile data collection in the harshest mobile environments.

The 8525 G2 can also be configured to operate in Intense and Cold Environments (ICE). The features of Fire and Ice put the 8525 G2 in a class by itself. The 8525 G2 offers maximum performance with robust expansion and connectivity options. It is easy to see why the 8525 G2 is the only choice for use in the harshest and most demanding environments like warehouses, freezers, ports, yards and other local-area mobile applications. And, like the rest of Psion Teklogix’ mobile computing products, the 8525 G2 is based on industry standards to ensure it integrates easily with your existing or future infrastructure.

Wide range power supply: 10 – 90
volts means no need for an external
pre-regulator and reduced cost.

Optional internal back-up battery: no need for an external UPS back up power supply, and no worry about lost data.

Freezer condensing options: The 8525 G2 is available in a freezer-rated version that included heated components rated for temperatures as low as -30°C (-22°F)

Bold, bright, crisp, colour: Transmissive display allows the screen to be seen clearly even in bright lighting conditions.

Enhanced connectivity: Multiple
expansion ports including RS232 (DB9), USB device and several USB hosts. These ports are ideal to connect multiple peripherals like undecoded or decoded bar code scanners, hand-held imagers and printers.

Radio options: 802.11b/g, Bluetooth
and Narrowband radio options in the
same terminal gives you maximum
flexibility for wireless connectivity

Magnesium housing: 30% lighter than aluminium, has a greater strength to weight ratio than aluminium or steel.
