ADC Krone Campus and Backbone
|
Structured Cabling Campus and Backbone products are for use in installations between buildings (campus) and between floors (backbone). ADC KRONE’s TrueNet® solution includes copper and fibre products:
The TrueNet® Structured Cabling solutions include all of the components needed to produce a fibre, blown fibre, Category 6A or Category 7 network cabling infrastructure.

TrueNet® Fibre Cable Solution
The TrueNet® Fibre Solution is unique in that it is the only fibre solution that has a Zero Bit Error Warranty which guarantees, when used in a horizontal, backbone, data centre or storage area network (SAN), that it will not cause bit errors which can cause network slow-down.
Pulled and blown fibre can deliver 1 and 10 gigabit Ethernet speeds, the following table identifies which cable to use.

TrueNet® Blown Fibre System
When compared against traditional fibre and copper installations, blown fibre, with its low total life costs, is seen by many as the lowest cost model.
The fibres are deployed from one point of a network to another (internal or external) using compressed air to blow optical fibre into pre-installed tubes. The tubes have spare capacity that enables additional fibre to be blown-in without disruption to the existing network. Unlike other blown fibre solutions, TrueNet blown fibre can also be recovered and re-used.
Blown fibre can deliver 1 and 10 gigabit Ethernet speeds, the following table identifies which cable to use.
The TrueNet® Blown Fibre Solutions includes:

CopperTen™ Category 6A Solutions
CopperTen™ is ADC KRONE’s copper 10 Gigabit Ethernet solution and offers network managers the opportunity to install ten times the data capacity for only a small additional cost, while giving them the future proofing they need for converged and multi-media voice/data/video requirements both now and over the coming years.
To meet the requirements of markets throughout the world, CopperTen™ is available in both UTP (unshielded) and S/FTP (shielded) formats and meets the evolving standards such as IEEE 802.3an (10GBASE-T) and TIA/EIA-568-B.2.
Today’s network is typified with users having more than one networked device. With emerging technologies such as IP security cameras, WiFi Access points and intelligent building networks the demand for increased bandwidth is going to continue to rise.
