MerchantEyes Your Business

MerchantEyes is Jade’s new feature-rich application designed to enhance and improve retail operations. It uses mobile devices like the new Intermec CK3 and integrates with back end data systems to provide secure real-time communications over a wireless connection. MerchantEyes gives retailers higher quality data on shop-floor operations and delivers the ability to become more responsive, agile, and make more informed business decisions while enhancing customer service.

Jade Director Dave Sharratt and MerchantEyes Developer Rebecca Lawrence will unveil our all-new MerchantEyes application with live demonstrations at the Avnet Resource Centre in Bracknell on Wednesday 3rd December. Guest speakers include retail technology journalist Penelope Ody and Craig Backham, Intermec’s highly experienced EMEA Business Development Manager for the retail sector.

MerchantEyes offers a uniquely low cost point of entry for this type of technology with minimal capital outlay. Its core applications include Stock Control, Price Management, Customer Service and an overall Management function.

Remote Access Simplified with Lantronix ManageLinx

Lantronix ManageLinx is a powerful M2M (machine-to-machine) communications solution that provides secure remote Internet access to virtually any piece of IP-enabled equipment – even behind remote firewalls or VPNs.

ManageLinx is a secure and easily managed solution that joins equipment across the Internet to create a "Virtual Device Network" (VDN). More flexible and easier to deploy than a traditional VPN, the ManageLinx VDN restricts access to only the specific IP addresses of authorised equipment and does not allow visibility to any other part of the network. It does not require any changes to network hardware or configurations.

Lynn Loses her Locks for a Good Cause

A fortieth birthday can do strange things to people and Lynn Moore, Jade’s PA to the Directors, is no exception. While some may think it’s time to let her hair down a bit, Lynn’s decided to have her head shaved instead!

Sound crazy? Well it is, but it’s all in a good cause. Having seen her mother suffer with dementia, Lynn is determined to do what she can to help the growing number of people affected by this terrible life-altering disease. So as she turned 40 last weekend, she went completely bald to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society.

Over 700,000 people in the UK have dementia - more than half have Alzheimer's disease. Dementia affects one in 14 people over the age of 65 and one in six over the age of 80.

You can lend your support to Lynn and make a donation to this worthy cause at: www.justgiving.com/lynnmoore3
